Why brunch at Coffee & Waffles

Our café sits in the historic centre of Prague 1, a short walk from Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. Instead of toast or a bun, most dishes are served on a freshly baked waffle – crispy on the outside, soft inside. That's what makes our brunch different: one base, dozens of sweet and savoury combinations.

Big breakfasts to share

Coming with friends or family? The English breakfast (waffles, sausages, eggs, bacon, beans, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and hash browns), the American breakfast (sweet fried waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, maple syrup and fruit) and shakshuka with hummus are all made for a slow brunch. Lighter options include granola with Greek yogurt, oatmeal and eggs in a glass.

Sweet waffles for dessert

No brunch is complete without something sweet. Choose a strawberry or fruit waffle with maple syrup or Nutella, an apple strudel waffle, a pistachio waffle, trio choco, caramel or Oreo waffles – or mini pancakes with Greek yogurt, vanilla cream and caramel.

Specialty coffee with your brunch

We serve espresso, flat white, cappuccino, caffè latte and filter coffee, as well as espresso tonic, matcha latte, chai latte and hot chocolate. For the youngest guests there is a babyccino.

Tips for your visit

Weekend late mornings tend to be busy in the Old Town. We don't take reservations, so come a bit earlier or try a weekday.
Brunch in the afternoon works too – breakfast is on the menu until 20:00.

Do I need a reservation?

No. Coffee & Waffles does not accept reservations – just walk in.

Do you have gluten-free waffles?

Yes. Gluten-free waffles are prepared in the same waffle maker as classic waffles. We try to reduce traces of gluten as much as possible, but we cannot completely eliminate them.
